Free From Fibroids Foundation was proud to sponsor Hosea Helps’ annual “Mommy & Me” event on May 10th, 2025,—made possible through Dr. John Lipman’s contribution as a Presenting Sponsor—to support mothers with practical resources and encouragement.
Hosea Helps serves families across 380+ schools and 190 zip codes, reaching more than 40 cities with programs designed to strengthen households and help reduce the impact of poverty. Their mission is to identify the challenges facing families at risk of slipping into poverty—or currently living in poverty—and then mobilize financial resources, donated products, and volunteers to help stabilize households.
This year’s Mommy & Me event was a wonderful success, supporting more than 100 mothers with essential items and family-focused supplies. Participants received $25 gift cards, diapers, large Mommy & Me kits, and filled gift bags, along with additional support such as grocery and MARTA cards. The event also reflected the spirit of care that Hosea Helps is known for—helping moms feel supported while meeting real, everyday needs.
